International Services
Your entities don't stop at the US border, and neither does SingleFile. We now offer registered office and annual compliance services in five international markets — each selected based on client demand and alignment with the organizations we serve. Manage domestic and international compliance through one relationship, with the same team you already work with at SingleFile.
Contact us about international servicesOur initial markets
We selected our initial five markets based on client demand and alignment with our core ICP — law firms, PE firms, real estate organizations, and investment structures with cross-border entity needs.
Canada Standardized
Our closest and most familiar international market. Canada's entity structure and compliance requirements mirror what we already deliver domestically — registered office and annual reporting using the same proven playbook.
Cayman Islands White-glove
A leading International Finance Centre for structured finance and investment fund vehicles. Compliance requirements vary by entity type and business purpose — each engagement is scoped individually.
British Virgin Islands White-glove
A preferred jurisdiction for holding companies and cross-border investment structures. Registered office and annual compliance services delivered through our vetted local agent network.
Jersey White-glove
A well-regulated International Finance Centre used extensively by PE and real estate funds with European operations. Registered office and annual compliance services available.
Luxembourg White-glove
A primary hub for European investment structures and funds. Luxembourg has no recurring annual compliance requirement, but Beneficial Ownership and Confirmation Filings must be completed within 30 days of any change. Registered office services sold standalone.
How we operate internationally: We work through a network of vetted local agents in each jurisdiction, allowing us to deliver reliable service while we build international capacity and track demand. All international requests are coordinated by your SingleFile representative from start to finish.
What we deliver
Registered office services
A compliant registered address in each jurisdiction where your entities are organized, handled through vetted local agents with experience in each market's specific requirements. Outside the United States, what we call a registered agent is typically referred to as a registered office — the function is the same.
Annual compliance filings
Annual compliance requirements handled on your behalf in each jurisdiction per regulatory requirements. (Some restrictions apply)
Transactional work and document retrieval
Full-service transactional support at standard SingleFile rates, including Beneficial Ownership and Confirmation Filings where required, with vendor and jurisdictional fees passed through at cost. Document retrieval is available in most jurisdictions, excluding those on active sanctions lists.
Service of process forwarding
Any service of process received internationally is forwarded promptly to our international SOP address and uploaded to the relevant entity record so the appropriate parties are notified per requirement.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between "standardized" and "white-glove" pricing?
Canada's compliance requirements closely mirror US standards, so we offer standardized service at a consistent rate per jurisdiction. The International Finance Centres — Cayman Islands, BVI, Jersey, and Luxembourg — require a tailored approach because requirements vary significantly by entity type, business purpose, and jurisdiction-specific rules. There is no one-size-fits-all model in those markets, so each engagement is scoped and priced individually.
How do I initiate an international service request?
What is a registered office, and how is it different from a US registered agent?
Outside the United States, the equivalent of a registered agent is typically called a registered office. The function is the same: a designated address and point of contact for legal and regulatory correspondence in the jurisdiction where the entity is organized. We use the terms interchangeably.
Does SingleFile work with local agents in each jurisdiction?
Yes. We partner with vetted local agents in each market — experienced professionals who understand the specific requirements of each jurisdiction. This allows us to deliver reliable international service while maintaining quality oversight on your behalf.
Are there additional fees beyond the annual service fee?
Yes. Jurisdictional and vendor fees are passed through to the client at cost. Transactional work is billed at standard SingleFile rates. Your representative will outline all applicable fees before any engagement begins.
Do you plan to expand to additional markets?
Yes. Our approach is incremental and demand-driven. As volume grows in our initial markets and we identify clear client needs in additional jurisdictions, we'll expand accordingly. If you have entities in a market not currently listed, reach out to your representative.
